How do you tell what size your pool table is?

We all have heard that old saying measure twice and cut once, right?
Well, that holds true especially when you need to know the size of your pool table to make sure the correct size felt or cloth is cut correctly and installed on your pool table!
You are going to measure the inside dimensions of your pool table, the playing surface.
So put your measuring tape on the bed of the pool table and measure from bumper to bumper. Measure both the width and length inches, this will help us determine the exact size of your pool table.
Check out the chart below to see the measurements for a 7ft, 8ft and 9ft pool table.
7ft pool table measures 39 inches wide by 78 inches in length.
8ft pool table measures 44 inches wide by 88 inches in length.
9ft pool table measures 50 inches wide by 100 inches in length.
